Voodies

About My Work With Voodies

I spent over a year leading all social strategy and creative direction for Voodies, a startup food discovery app built around restaurant storytelling and short-form content. During that time, I helped grow the brand to over 140K followers and millions of monthly views across TikTok and Instagram. I managed a small team of interns, ran influencer outreach, coordinated restaurant collaborations, and oversaw every campaign from concept to launch.

My work included building full content calendars, editing and scripting videos, and running paid media that turned engagement into real community growth. I developed systems to track performance, handled weekly analytics reports, and used insights to guide creative decisions. I also led over 50 influencer and restaurant partnerships, turning social buzz into early brand traction.

Beyond growth, I worked cross-functionally with the leadership, design, and development teams to keep marketing aligned with product goals. I helped shape the brand voice, streamlined creative workflows, and set measurable goals for each campaign so the entire team could see progress in real time.

This role taught me how to lead with structure while staying creative, how to manage people and priorities, and how to connect culture, storytelling, and strategy in a way that actually performs. It’s where I learned to think like a marketer, create like a storyteller, and execute like a team lead.

SaltnStill

About My Work on SaltnStill

I created SaltnStill to blend creativity with purpose, building a storytelling and donation platform focused on ocean conservation. I designed and built the entire website myself, handling everything from branding and layout to copy and design. I wanted it to feel calm, visual, and real, something that connects people to the ocean in a personal way.

Through SaltnStill, I’ve created long-form stories, campaign ideas, and visual content that show how marketing can make an impact. I built full campaign decks and mock brand pitches that look and feel agency-level, mixing storytelling, visuals, and strategy. I wanted every piece to show that creative work can have purpose without losing style.

The project got attention from a few conservation organizations, and now I’m working with one to create ongoing digital content and outreach strategy. Running everything myself taught me how to plan and manage projects, start to finish, from ideas and research to design and delivery.

SaltnStill is where I’ve learned how to connect emotion with strategy and push creative ideas that actually move people. It’s where I proved to myself that good marketing can do more than get clicks; it can make people care. You can check it out at SaltnStill.com
